BEYOND THE OCEAN: Art From China

January 16th - March 8th, 2014

Beyond the Ocean is an exchanged exhibition project between the Torrance Art Museum (TAM) and the University City Art Museum of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts (UAM). It was conceived as a platform for Chinese and American artists to take their works across the Pacific Ocean and exhibit them in new and foreign settings, ultimately allowing the two communities to communicate with each other through their work.
