The many artists within this exhibition explore the beauty of everyday life by expanding past plants as living decorative objects and gazing further into the interior landscapes that surround them, providing a glimpse into a variety of home lives both real and imagined.
As the popularity of houseplants has surged in the past few years, so too has our collective desire to re-connect with nature in increasingly urban and suburban settings. The artworks shown here invite us to further examine plants beyond as an aesthetic trend and reflect on our desire to both co-habitate with and control elements of the natural world.
